My Bible Study Help Christian Seminar
|
 |
|

This from George Barna of the Barna Research group in his report Spiritual Growth Hard to Find in 2003(www.barna.org):
"The fact that there has not been any measurable increase in church involvement or personal spiritual depth in the past decade challenges the widespread notion that the U.S. is as spiritually healthy and focused as ever."
"Further, at the same time that 84% of adults claim to be Christian, three out of four say they are either absolutely or somewhat committed to Christianity, and three-fifths say they believe the Bible is totally accurate in all that
it teaches, the moral foundations of the nation are crumbling. This year (2003) brought about increases in the proportions of people who contend that cohabitation (60%), adultery (42%), sexual relations between homosexuals (30%),
abortion (45%), pornography (38%), the use of profanity (36%) and gambling (61%) are “morally acceptable” behaviors.
Do the Christians in your church really have a strong foundation upon which to make base their understandings? How do you know?
The My Bible Study Help seminar will open the eyes of your church members to how they can really grow in their understanding and knowledge of God.
Why not use the MBSH seminar to help your people see significant growth in their personal walks with the Lord

The My Bible Study Help manual basics
The manual is designed to show Christians what it means to be a disciple of Christ while giving them
a clear picture of their spiritual health and then providing them with a plan for future growth.
The manual also encourages them to use the Christian body as a source of strength and encouragement while showing them how to help others also to grow.
The manual and seminar follow this outline:
- Understanding True Spiritual Growth
- What Have I Been Growing?
- What Am I Trying To Grow?
- A Commitment To Spiritual Growth
- A Plan To Grow

-
The minimum amount of time for a seminar is 5 hours.
It is the basic amount of time required for the amount of information and participant work to be completed.

The seminar can be done in 1 or 2 days, over a weekend,
a Sunday afternoon and evening, or other schedules to fit your needs.
-
There is no cost for the seminar.
We will provide you with promotional ideas, sign up forms, newsletter articles, bulletin inserts, to help you promote the MBSH seminar and make it a big success in your church.
There is usually only two cost items for the church. One is the copies of the My Bible Study Help manual and notebooks to put them in.
The second item is snacks and drinks for the participants before and during the seminar.
-
We would be happy to discuss with you any questions you may have about the My Bible Study Help seminar.
A personal note:
My desire as a Minister of Education is to simply see people grow in the Lord. I believe that most Christians have a strong desire to grow. They want to see spriitual growth
take place in their lives. The MBSH seminar will provide your church members with a picture of their spiritual health and then help them to implement a plan for future growth.
